From February 14 through 23, 2025, the 52nd Annual Sandpoint Winter Carnival promises to be an exciting celebration of community, entertainment, and winter wonder. The carnival starts on Friday, February 14, with the Parade of Lights, which lights up downtown with floats, music, and cheer. The parade is followed by a block party at the Pend d’Oreille Winery, complete with live performances, s’ mores, hot cocoa, and more.
Enjoy sleigh rides, dinner, and live jazz at Western Pleasure Guest Ranch or special sweetheart deals downtown Sandpoint for Valentine's Day, February 14. Throughout President’s Day Weekend, Schweitzer Mountain Resort buzzes with events, skiing, and snowboarding fun. On Saturday, February 15, Paper Flowers’ Fleetwood Mac tribute is coming to The Hive: it will be an unforgettable musical experience. On Sunday, February 16, join the Music Conservatory with their Tea Time Serenade, featuring local talent at the conservatory’s Little Carnegie Hall.
The festival concludes on Sunday, February 23, with the beloved Eichardt’s K9 Keg Pull. Applaud as dogs of all sizes drag keg "sleds" in a race benefitting the Better Together Animal Alliance.
